The
7th Annual Australian Screen Sound Guild Awards were held on
Friday the 1st October 2004 at the Wharf Theatre Restaurant,
Pier 4 The Rocks, Sydney.
One
hundred guests enjoyed an entertaining night with host VICTORIA
NICHOLLS being as funny as ever, voice man ROBBIE McGREGOR
rolling his tongue around the many and varied names and nominations
and our house band "THE CATFISH CLUB" providing us with
very fine music and entertainment.
Once
again ENCORE provided four door prizes which were picked
by the now famous FUDGE LOTTO, thank you Jacqui.
Everyone agreed the night was as entertaining as ever and there
were many smiles amongst the winners.
Once again the sponsors have to be thanked because without them
there would be no awards night, so thank you very much our dear
sponsors.

Ross

Finally to the final award of the evening, one that everyone
had been waiting for:
Feature Film Soundtrack of the Year.

From
all the films entered this year the judges decided on what they
thought was the best overall soundtrack. SOMERSAULT.
And that was it for another year, "The Catfish Club" played
out the rest of the evening until it was time to pack up and
move on to the bar at Pier One, oh what a night.
I would like to thank Tony Murtagh for his valuable help
in preparing the AV show, David Glasser for his constant
