The Twelfth Australian Screen Sound Awards 2009
The Twelfth Australian Screen Sound Awards were held on Friday
the 20th November 2009 at the North Sydney Harbourview Hotel.
The 124 guests enjoyed a wonderful evening hosted by our MC Peter Fenton who was both funny and entertaining.
We also enjoyed the beautiful music from the Alex West Quartet and dinner entertainment from Ben Osmo.
The Student Encouragement Award went to final year student at AFTRS, Paradox Delilah who is studying sound recording. She was awarded a $1,000 prize of Digidesign products from Julius Chan Of Amber Technology.
Lifetime Achiever went to Julian Ellingworth, a sound mixer with over 64 feature films to his credit, Peter reminded Julian about his “younger” years with United Sound when Peter was his boss.
