1999 Screen Sound Awards

The 1999 Australian Screen Sound Guild Awards were held at the Sebel Of Sydney on Saturday 16th October.

Attended by approximately 180 members and guests, the evening was hosted by Adam Spencer, assisted by special guests, including actor Chris Haywood and producer Tony Buckley.

A total of 18 awards were presented across all categories of film and television sound.

The Fairlight Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to Clive Cross for his pioneering work on sound on film for Cinesound. He was also made an Honorary Life Member of the Guild.
